Rahul’s Jewels began as a personal journey.
A LOVE LETTER TO THE CRAFT OF JEWELRY AND TO THE COMMUNITIES THAT SHAPED ME.

My story

I’m a native New Yorker—born into the pulse of the city and into the world of jewelry. My father started his business decades ago, and I grew up surrounded by trays of diamonds, whispers of deals, and the quiet weight of gold.

I eventually followed my own path through the industry, working with major jewelry brands and learning the ins and outs of sourcing, design, and storytelling. But no matter where I worked, something always felt missing.

I didn’t see me in the jewelry. I didn’t see my friends, my community, my joy. I didn’t see the fire of queer expression, the brilliance of culture, or the raw beauty that lives outside the mainstream.

So I created Rahul’s Jewels.

This brand is my passion project—an offering of everything I love: the elegance of diamonds (especially the overlooked, opaque, richly colored ones), the energy of travel, the freedom of dancing, and the strength of chosen family. It’s about creativity. It’s about giving back. It’s about showing up fully.

To me, these lesser-known diamonds feel like a metaphor. Mysterious, rare, and too often ignored—they reflect the beauty of communities that haven’t always had a spotlight. I wanted to celebrate that. Loudly, quietly, and everything in between.

Rahul’s Jewels is my way of doing that—with craft, with care, and with heart.
